Synthetic diamond single tip dressers (CVD) have the great advantage of being used from beginning to end without any change in their performance and without having to manoeuvre the tool at all during its duration.

However what is essential is the correct construction of the tool and even more so, the proper use (positioning) of the synthetic diamond during the dressing.
