This type of tool is used for the dressing of specific profiles on abrasive grinders.
The making of the profilers, and consequently their cost, is influenced by many factors:
- angles and radius determine the first guidelines regarding the diamonds to be used
- the size and type of the grinder to be profiled leads you to choose between the different types of diamonds, which are more or less resistant to the abrasion of the same grinder.
- the size and quality of the diamond, according to the previous points.
The correct mix of these various points allows us to choose the diamond that offers a balanced quality/price ratio and that therefore allows us to produce a profiler which is able to meet the user’s expectations.
The correct use of the profiler allows for the tool to be regenerated repeatedly.
